My clients describe me as warm, knowledgeable, curious and transparent. I am responsive and keen to refine your therapy experience as I get to know you better. My approach to therapy is to centre your autonomy. You're the boss. You set the destination and ultimately decide what path to take. You hire me to ease the process. Together, we can gain clarity, explore your options, work through barriers, and connect with what’s important to you.
I often do good work with:
Adults and young adults (16 - 60)
Women and 2SLGBTQIA+ folks
Folks with disabilities, chronic illness, Autism, ADHD, etc.
Folks seeking balance (more rest, more joy, more connection)
Folks seeking healthy and rewarding relationships of all kinds
Folks that want a better relationship with themselves or their body
Folks who wrestle with suicide
Folks navigating harmful systems
Folks with prior poor experiences in therapy
I may not be the right fit for you if:
You live outside Ontario
You want in-person therapy
You want couples or family therapy
You are seeking therapy for a child or senior/ elder
You are seeking a therapy modality I'm not currently trained in
You’re not connecting with what you’ve read so far
Even if I’m not the right fit for you, reach out. I'll try to help you find a provider.

No. In my opinion, AI does not have enough protections for private information or ethical use in therapy.
Sessions are 55 minutes long and cost $160 (tax inclusive). You can pay via credit card on JaneApp or e-transfer to [email protected]
Most insurance programs in Canada cover psychotherapy provided by a registered social worker AND my full session fee– but you should confirm the specifics of your insurance program. I don’t offer direct billing at this time, but you can submit your receipts to be reimbursed.
We can use your free consult to go over free, subsidized, affordable and/ or lower cost options. I also have a limited number of sliding scale spots, which you can ask about in your free consult.
You can arrive to the consult with a really clear idea of what you're looking for and an agenda you would like to lead-- or you can show up not knowing where to start and I'll facilitate. There is no single right way to show up.
I am a registered and licensed Masters of Social Work (RSW, MSW) who can perform the controlled act of Psychotherapy. I undergo ongoing professional development every year, often on the topic of my specialties. My work is also informed by my lived experience.
Everyone is worthy of support– and no therapist can cultivate a deep understanding of everything. It’s important to be transparent about my skills so you can make informed decisions about your care.I respect your autonomy. If you want to work together, reach out and we'll chat. I still work successfully with clients outside my focus if I’m confident– after learning more in the consult– that I can do so competently.
I usually combine therapeutic approaches for each unique client– but I favour person-centred, trauma-informed, harm reduction and anti-oppressive approaches.I use specific techniques from Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Liberation Psychology, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
